Master agent Telarus is beefing up its partner support with the hiring of Nikki Day.

Telarus’ Nikki Day

Day‘s background is extensive, with 16 years of technology sales experience at some of the industry’s biggest players, including Comptel Group, Comcast and One Communications (now part of Windstream). Her career has included roles in both the direct and indirect channels. Most notably, she has specialized in the development of new sales reps. Day has sold and supported cloud computing services, SD-WAN, and UCaaS opportunities, giving her the experience that Telarus says is needed to deliver “exceptional guidance to VARs, telco agents and other technology sales partners.”

“We are excited to welcome Nikki to our Northeast partner development team,” said Joe Galluzzi, Telarus regional VP of the Northeast. “Nikki is a seasoned industry veteran who understands how to attract top-selling partners and open their minds to all of the unique tools and resources Telarus provides for them to grow their cybersecurity, contact center, network, and UCaaS practices. With her prior experience … we’ve witnessed her unique ability exceed growth targets with her responsiveness, attention to detail, and thorough understanding of today’s communication technology.

The company considers Day to be a huge asset for agent partners in a fast-growing market that includes Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

“With Telarus’ recent acquisition of CarrierSales, the amount of expertise in cybersecurity, contact center, mobility, colo, and cloud is unparalleled,” said Day. “Add to that Telarus’ patented real-time quoting system, fiber-map lookup app for iPhone, free network monitoring, hosted voice monitoring, UCaaS, and SD-WAN product matrices, and demand-generation technology, and I’ll have plenty to talk about when I meet with new and existing partners in the Boston area.”

Day says she already has met many Telarus partners and is excited to help them “unleash their growth potential.”

The master agent has 160 providers in its portfolio as well as a large number of SME and software assets that it has built and acquired over the past 15 years.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to help New England partners expand beyond their traditional product lines, so they can benefit from the opportunities that cloud represents,” she added.

Channel Partners will be in Boca Raton, Florida, June 19-22, for Telarus’ annual partner event, which this year has a new name — Telarus Partner Exchange. Keep your eyes on this space for news from the Florida Coast.
