Microsoft Upgrades FastTrack Service in Office 365 Push
Microsoft (MSFT) said it has upgraded the offerings of its Office 365-centric FastTrack program, which the vendor introduced earlier this year to help channel partners boost customer demand for the productivity suite and its enterprise mobility management service.
The FastTrack program helps customers on board with Office 365 and Enterprise Mobility Suite production-ready trials, subscriptions, labs, training resources, business scenarios, and templates.
Gavriella Schuster, Microsoft Worldwide Partner Group general manager, said in a blog post that “Beyond the initial onboarding, FastTrack will assist the customer and their partners with adoption by remotely introducing them to respective resources.”
Here they are:
- Updated methodology, online resources, and tools, to help customers and their partners Envision their north star, identify and prioritize business scenarios, and collaborate with key stakeholders to plan for successful rollouts at their own pace.
- As before, remote onboarding and migration services, automating repeatable tasks to Onboard customers to the cloud.
- New best practices, guidance, and resources for customers and their partners to Drive Value through Office 365 adoption.
Microsoft will deliver the new engagement model through two main channels, Schuster said. The vendor will provide the methodology, tools, resources through its new FastTrack web experience on FastTrack.Microsoft.com, and the onboarding, migration, and adoption planning services through its remote FastTrack Center (formerly Onboarding Center).
Schuster said the FastTrack upgrade is geared toward channel partner involvement.
“These updates fully leverage the partner-led engagement model with the FastTrack Center,” she said. “Partner engagement helps us drive higher customer satisfaction and opens opportunities for you to drive adoption of advanced workloads by delivering high-value services such as business process consulting, managed services, LoB integration and app development.
“Realizing the value of Office 365 helps drive demand for even more capabilities, functions, and solutions. We’ve reimagined FastTrack to get your customers there quicker so they can begin seeing the possibilities the cloud creates. We’re excited to see where you and our mutual customers will go from there,” said Schuster.
