AirWatch has increased its focus on managed services providers (MSPs) in the mobile device management (MDM) market over the last year, leading MSPmentor to believe that we should pay close attention to any news coming out of AirWatch Connect 2013 this week in Atlanta, Ga. We’ll be there.

The conference agenda covers all the hot MDM topics including security and bring your own device (BYOD). Guest speakers include analysts from Gartner, Inc. (IT) and International Data Corp. (IDC) as well as Salesforce.com (CRM) CIO Ross Meyercord.

AirWatch, Stratix Partner to Deliver MDM, BYOD and Help Desk Offering — September 6, 2013

AirWatch partnered with managed mobile services (MMS) provider Stratix Corp. last week to deliver mobility solutions to customers.

AirWatch Acquires Motorola Solutions’ Mobility Services Platform Business — June 26, 2013

AirWatch acquired Motorola Solutions’ (MSI) Mobility Services Platform busines, and said it will continue to evolve the Motorola Mobility Services Platform provide existing customers with support directly from Motorola Solutions.

AirWatch Updates Mobile Content Management Features — May 30, 2013

AirWatch has updated its mobile content management (MCM) solution, Secure Content Locker, to include personal content storage, desktop sync, secure link sharing and FIPS-140-2-validated encryption and the ability to incorporate features during app development.

AirWatch Raises Another $25M for Global Expansion, R&D and Content Collaboration — May 16, 2013

AirWatch earmarked new venture capital funding to pay for an acceleration of global growth, an expansion of the research and development team and increase support for innovation and sales of the company’s content collaboration solution. The company announced an expansion to Series A funding through a $25 million investment by Accel Partners, adding to the original $200 million Series A investment by Insight Venture Partners back in February 2013

AirWatch Partners with CSS Corp for BYOD Adoption — April 3, 2013

Technology consulting and support provider CSS Corp. has joined the ranks of IT companies choosing AirWatch as a mobile device management platform to enable bring your own device (BYOD) for customers,its MDM services to include a readiness assessment, policy creation, policy management and around the clock monitoring and management.

AirWatch Partners with Keynectics-OpenTrust for Mobile Device PKI — April 2, 2013

AirWatch announced integration with online digital trust services provider Keynectis-OpenTrust for mobile device and credential management. Both companies said several customers are already leveraging this integration to automatically deploy digital identities over mobile devices.

MDM Provider AirWatch Partners with Dimension Data — January 23, 2013

AirWatch Offers Standalone MAM for BYOD — January 9, 2013

AirWatch announced standalone mobile application management solution, designed to increase administrative flexibility. The new solution aims to provide managed services providers with mobile device management, mobile application management, mobile content management, mobile email management and BYOD management.
