Tampa, Florida-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform company LabTech Software will add up to 100 corporate headquarters jobs, including customer support, marketing, sales and software development positions.

John Timko, LabTech Software’s marketing director, told MSPmentor his company is in “hyper-growth mode,” and the additional staff could help the RMM software provider accelerate its growth.

“We will be opening and adding headcount for these positions right away,” he said. “We are looking to add to all of these departments with no specific prioritization plan. We are big on finding the best-talented individual that fits our company culture and core values to further strengthen our company.”

LabTech Software also will create $643,750 in capital investment, according to Florida Gov. Rick Scott.

“[This] expansion and creation of 100 new jobs means even more Floridians in the Tampa area will be able to provide for their families,” Scott said in a prepared statement.

LabTech Software continues to extend its reach

More than 4,200 managed service providers (MSPs) currently use LabTech Software’s RMM platform to monitor and manage both physical and virtual IT environments from a single console.

Timko noted LabTech Software is focused on delivering a “superior RMM platform” for MSPs, and his company could help the Tampa area become a technology mecca as well.

“[This gives] us the ability to further grow and showcase the Tampa Bay area as an upcoming area of technology companies and develop our own ‘Silicon Valley,'” he said. “The Tampa Bay area and the state of Florida have become areas to where rather large and industry-leading companies are growing and having success, and we don’t see this trend slowing down.”

LabTech Software recently was named one of the fastest growing privately held businesses in Tampa and employs more than 350 team members worldwide.
