Howdy, and welcome to the latest installment of the Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly collection of what’s happening with channel partner programs without all the fluff. This week we’ve got the latest from CDW, snom technology and newcomer NCP engineering, so tighten your saddle, grab your reins and let’s ride.

CDW: The solution provider extraordinaire received a whopping nine awards during the Cisco Partner Summit 2012 in April, including the coveted Cisco Partner Summit award for Global Partner of the Year — Americas. CDW also received national and theater awards for Americas Partner of the Year — Commercial and Public Sector, U.S. Public Sector Partner of the Year, U.S. Nationals Architectural Excellence — Collaboration, U.S./Canada Central Area Partner of the Year, U.S./Canada Central Cisco Capital Partner of the Year, U.S./Canada East Commercial Partner of the Year, and U.S./Canada West Architectural Excellence — Borderless Networks.

snom technology: The IP communications vendor announced a new e-learning course, SIP 101, focused on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) fundamentals. This course is the latest addition to snom’s new online training program introduced earlier this spring and is available free to registered snom VARs from North and South America, Australia and New Zealand. SIP 101 will serve as a prerequisite to enrollment in the company’s online snom ONE Certification Training course.

NCP engineering: It may not be a  household name, but IPsec/SSL VPN solutions provider NCP engineering is growing with the addition of three new channel partners. The company has added one Gold Partner, CCT Technologies, and two Silver Partners, Nexus, a Stratos Company and Computer 1 Products, to its roster of more than 250 resellers. They now can sell NCP’s palette of technologies including the NCP Secure Enterprise Management System, NCP Secure Enterprise VPN Server, NCP Secure Enterprise Client and NCP Secure Entry Client. According to the company, “Each solution is easy-to-use and simple to manage, and is 100 percent interoperable with major third-party security technologies, including VPN gateways and firewalls.” It also supports a broad range of platforms including Windows 7/Vista/XP, Windows Mobile/Phone, Android, Mac OS X/iOS, BlackBerry, Symbian and Linux.

And that’s the end of the roundup for this week. Come on back next week for another edition of the Channel Partner Program Roundup. Until then, stay tall in the saddle and ride, ride, ride.
