BitTitan has appointed veteran technology and marketing executive Pam Cory, formerly with Dell EMC, as vice president of marketing.

In her new role, she is charged with leading all product, brand and channel marketing, as well as driving strategy around demand generation, business development, and media relations for its IT services automation platform, MSPComplete, and cloud-migration offering, MigrationWiz.

As head of marketing in Dell EMC‘s emerging technologies division, Cory executed strategy and market plans around customer retention, with a focus on big data, Internet of Things (IoT) and analytics. Prior to Dell EMC, she served in an executive marketing capacity for SaaS-based digital content provider ProQuest, expanding market as well as brand strategies, product launches, demand generation and content marketing campaigns.

“I have yet to meet a CEO or founder as passionate as (BitTitan CEO) Geeman (Yip), and the team he’s assembled here reflects such a unique energy, talent and drive,” she said. “I’m excited to dig into this scrappy startup culture, further hone BitTitan’s story and continue building on the great experiences for BitTitan customers.”

Before ProQuest, Cory served as the vice president of marketing for NetMotion Wireless. While managing teams of up to 100 members and enterprise marketing budgets, her experience spans acquisitions, divestures, IPOs, P&L ownership and channel strategy.

“As we move into 2018, the managed service provider landscape is expanding, and BitTitan’s mission to empower our customers (to) build and scale their businesses in the cloud is stronger than ever,” Yip said. “Pam brings an incredible amount of marketing savvy and leadership experience to the table. We’re excited for her to join our ranks and help shape BitTitan’s global culture and product narrative.”

Channel Partners and Channel Futures recognized Yip in our Channel Influencer Awards digital issue last month.
