Telos partners now have access to the company’s new CyberProtect Partner Program. It supports six partner categories, including consulting, security reseller, technology alliance partner, implementation, MSP/MSSP and teaming.

CyberProtect includes an education curriculum. It delivers training and knowledge transfer to channel partners in a variety of formats. In addition, it offers pre- and post-sale support, a certification process for partners, co-op or investment funds, and more.

Telos provides cyber, cloud and enterprise security solutions.

DLT Solutions, a Tech Data company, and Presidio Government Solutions, branded publicly as Presidio Federal, are among the first partners to join the program.

Strategic Shift

“Telos has had a rich history of partnering with organizations to solve customers’ challenges and deliver world-class solutions,” she said. “That said, we have traditionally provided those solutions in a direct model. Today, the demand for Telos cybersecurity solutions is strong. The launch of CyberProtect represents a strategic shift that will allow us to scale and reach a broader customer audience working through and with a wide variety of partners.”

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

The need for Telos’ program is about scale, reach and growth, Conway said.

“The demand for proven cybersecurity capabilities delivered in products like Xacta and Telos Ghost has grown rapidly,” she said. “And that growth is occurring in markets beyond the verticals that Telos has already been serving. We see opportunities in new markets such as state and local, education, financial services, regulated industries, ISVs and the list goes on. To quickly reach these new markets and solve customers’ needs, we must embrace the trusted partners that are already working successfully in those areas.”

Security resellers will resell, manage and support Telos offerings. Technology alliance partners collaborate with Telos to design, develop and deploy solutions for specific markets and customers.

MSPs and MSSPs license and manage Telos. Teaming partners join Telos on specific opportunities where joint skills and contacts are mutually beneficial.

Growing Need for Cybersecurity

Conway said there’s no question the need for cybersecurity solutions is growing exponentially.

“We see new threats and attacks daily (e.g. SolarWinds, Colonial Pipeline ransomware attacks, IoT malware attacks, etc.),” she said. “And those threats are no longer just targeted at large organizations or government entities. As workers and students shifted to remote work and online learning during the pandemic, they became increasingly targeted entry points into their organizations’ networks and systems. Telos and the Telos CyberProtect partners have solutions that address the cybersecurity concerns exacerbated by the pandemic, namely, Telos Ghost, an innovative virtual obfuscation network.”

Chris Wilkinson is president of DLT Solutions.

“With seemingly no end to the increasing cyber threat to the public sector, adding Telos solutions to DLT’s technology portfolio gives government and education organizations, and our channel partners, solutions that reduce risk, satisfy critical compliance requirements and improve the government’s ability to protect our nation’s technology infrastructures,” he said.
