Telarus sales partners now can sell Skyriver‘s broadband offerings.

The two companies announced a master-agent agreement on Thursday. Skyriver provides “5G class” millimeter wave (mmWave) broadband. Its Magnitude solution deploys “point-to-multi-point” 5G broadband. Telarus says the technology will support additional devices on the network and the massive amounts of data they produce.

“Legacy solutions, such as fiber, that consume tremendous cost outlays and resources to excavate, build and repair affected city infrastructure in order to extend the network, are not viable. Skyriver Magnitude is unfettered from the constraints inherent in fiber, quenching the hunger for robust and affordable bandwidth,” said Jenny Bourbiel, vice president of marketing for Skyriver.

“Leveraging technology to meet customer demand is at the core of our culture. We have developed a number of technology-driven tools such as GeoQuote and MoonRize order status that have paved the path for our agents to be informed and trusted advisors to our customers,” Telarus Co-founder Patrick Oborn said.

Telarus launched MoonRize, a mobile application that lets partners and their customers get visibility into the status of their orders, last month at the Telarus Partner Summit. Much of the distributor’s keynote content centered on how partners can give their clients better internet.

Greg Bass, Skyriver’s director of sales, calls Skyriver Magnitude “a natural complement” to the rest of Telarus’ communications portfolio.

“We’re excited to add Telarus to our extended mmWave family,”, said Bass. “Telarus agents have a longstanding reputation for delivering advanced communications solutions.”

Skyriver is based in San Diego.
