Sipera Launches Partner Program

Resellers, distributors, independent software vendors and other technology partners now can apply Sipera Systems’ security applications to new and existing VoIP and UC deployments through the Sipera Partner Network.

Partners will have access to Sipera’s VIPER Lab and IPCS solutions, which offer partners a variety of security functionalities including threat protection, policy enforcement, access control and privacy in a single device. The product family spans four appliances supporting 200 to 50,000 users with throughput from 10mbps to 2gbps. Sipera Partner Network members also are provided VoIP and UC security training, sales leads, marketing collateral, technical support and bulletins, a dedicated Web site, and streamlined order and fulfillment.

“These partnerships are critical to customers’ networks so we developed a partner program that focused on their VoIP/UC needs beyond deployments and normal operations,” said Eric Winsborrow, chief marketing officer for Sipera. “We expect partners’ customers will embrace our products along with partners’ support, and that new partners will likewise welcome adding this expertise to their portfolios.”

Current Sipera distribution partners include Westcon, while Belltech, INSI, Paranet, Shared Technologies and Vigilar are reseller partners.

Sipera’s real-time UC security solutions interoperate with systems developed by major VoIP infrastructure vendors, including Avaya Inc., Cisco Systems Inc. and Nortel Networks.
