Jaspersoft has teamed with global systems integrator Wipro Ltd (WIT) in a new partnership to provide multi-dimensional, self-service business intelligence capabilities to Wipro’s customer base.

With the partnership, Wipro’s customers will be able to analyze a wide variety of data such as ETL dashboards and reports with multi-dimensional analytics, according to the company. Customers will have access to information including currency, time zones, threading and languages.

“This new partnership demonstrates the strength of Jaspersoft’s global partner solutions and offerings,” said Paul Kochanski, senior director of Worldwide Channels for Jaspersoft, in a prepared statement. “The combination of our partner program and market-leading technologies—including self-service BI, embedded flexibility and cost efficiency—is attracting global partners such as Wipro.”

Jaspersoft and Wipro simultaneously announced they are releasing a joint app that analyzes weather patterns, which will enable Wipro’s customers to adjust heating and cooling in their facilities and reduce environmental impact and costs.

“Implementing Wipro proprietary platform solutions with the Jaspersoft BI suite enables us to create customized solutions that are flexible and scalable, supporting Wipro’s breadth of services at a low cost of ownership,” said Prem Swarup, general manager and Global Practice head at Wipro. “There’s no doubt that Jaspersoft is the right choice for Wipro’s global service offering, supporting our aim of delivering solutions that are both feature-rich and cost-effective.”

Earlier this week, Cisco Systems (CSCO) announced that it would devote $1 billion over the next two years toward building partner relationships for its “global intercloud” system. Wipro was named among nine organizations that have committed to deliver Cisco Cloud Services.
