D&H Distributing Launching Partner Organization with New Benefits

D&H will officially launch PartnerFi on Jan. 1.

D&H Distributing is launching its new PartnerFi Community, a new partner organization with a list of exclusive benefits for partner members.

Benefits include: credit incentives; access to leaders in the field, subject matter experts and keynote speakers; and discounts on services like asset tagging and green shipping processes. It also offers a premium version of Jason Bystrak’s “SuccessPath” program developed specifically for PartnerFi members. Bystrak is vice president of D&H’s cloud and services business unit.

Moreover, D&H has organized a dedicated team for this program, including executive leadership from vice president of marketing Jenn Walcott and vice president of VAR sales Peter DiMarco.

“D&H is committed to investing in its partners for the long-term,” Walcott said. “The PartnerFi Community grew from our recent BFG initiative, which stands for built for growth. We launched an education community in 2021 that has been very successful connecting channel partners to real-world experts in the field, to help them address urgent needs that are unique to this market. Response was strong enough that we expanded that structure, creating a more encompassing set of community networks to support a broader base of D&H partners. We’ve since established a full team to manage the resources that make this a compelling value.”

Official Launch Next Month

D&H will officially launch the PartnerFi partner organization on Jan. 1. The program will consist of two networks. The education network will include partners primarily selling into the K-12 vertical. The core network will include a combination of D&H’s more traditional VAR and MSP partners.

“D&H has always taken a consultative approach, so we look to incorporate partner feedback as a rule,” Walcott said. “As we transitioned our events (and in 2021, virtual training offerings) to focus more on engagement as opposed to sales, we added more partner advisory groups and opportunities for those solution providers to both deliver feedback and commune to discuss their pain points.”

Partners are looking for even more enablement resources, she said. They’re looking for opportunities to compare experiences and identify best practices. That’s with each other and with input from subject matter experts.

“They want tools and guidance that will help them address up-to-the-minute challenges like the evolving hybrid workplace and securing remote spaces,” Walcott said.

Strong Onboarding Expected in 2021

D&H expects the PartnerFi networks to include 300 to 500 partners by the end of 2022, and will continue to build in scope over the course of the year.

“It absolutely provides a competitive advantage,” Walcott said. “The objective is business development and growth for these partners. In addition to market intelligence, peer networking and access to industry authorities, they’re getting exclusive benefits like credit offerings and loyalty-based pricing on services that allow them to compete for more profitable projects they may not have been able to accommodate otherwise.”
