Exabeam Expands Technology Alliance Partner Program
To date, the Exabeam Technology Alliance Partner Program has attracted more than 350 software and services vendors, which represent integrations with nearly 2,500 data sources and APIs. The new program certification levels are designed to help customers understand the type and depth by vendor.
Chris Stewart, Exabeam‘s senior director of business development and global alliances, tells us all partners will benefit—not just Exabeam’s technology partners, but also the resellers.
“The resellers are building out security strategies and landscapes for their customers,” he said. “If companies like us build better frameworks and mechanisms for technology partners to integrate with, this makes the channel sales process much easier overall. With these integrations, resellers are now pitching a more complete solution with quicker time to value for the customer. This can help glue together legacy investments they’ve made more quickly, for example, and offer new use cases for the technologies they had not previously considered. Our new program brings together previously disparate technologies, providing more breadth and depth to customer security postures. This is important for everyone in the partner ecosystem.”
Starting this month, technology partners will fall under one of three designations:
- Validated Design Partner, for companies with at least one product that can be automated by Exabeam Incident Responder, and prebuilt rules and models for Exabeam Data Lake and Exabeam Advanced Analytics.
- Exabeam Certified Design Partner, for companies with at least one product that can be automated by Exabeam Incident Responder, and prebuilt rules or models for Exabeam Data Lake or Exabeam Advanced Analytics.
- Exabeam Integrated Design Partner, for companies with at least one product supported for data ingestion and parsing by either Exabeam Data Lake or Exabeam Advanced Analytics.
“More integration is better, and customers are demanding it,” Stewart said. “For a long time, customers spent too many cycles and energy on technology that was just out-of-the-box. Now there is a need for customization for the customer’s environment. Customers are weary of long, arduous proprietary integrations. This is a step forward. Various levels of technology partners are categorized into different use cases that address modern security concerns — like the mobile workforce, big data, bad actors. We align ourselves with partners that can improve customers’ security operations.”
The expansion of the Technology Alliance Partner Program was driven by the buildout of Exabeam’s SIEM platform, which now allows several methods of integration to help companies manage their security operations.
“Integrating the Netskope Security Cloud with Exabeam Advanced Analytics allows security professionals to quickly identify risky users that may have compromised credentials or insider threat actors abusing account privileges and directly address issues with security and access control policies,” said Billy Bond, Netskope’s vice president of business development and alliances. “Partnering with Exabeam has provided more than 375 analytics-driven data models and rules leveraging Netskope data within the Exabeam SIEM platform to our joint customers. We are delighted to be a launch partner in their new Technology Alliance Partner Program and drive even more integration points between our two solutions.”
