Google's Moto X: T-Mobile Poised to Join AT&T, Verizon, Sprint

Google’s Motorola X, the handset that’s gotten a lot of hype as being manufactured in the U.S., appears ready to make a go of it with all major carriers.

Motorola Mobility’s latest flagship is slated to get the red-carpet treatment with a formal announcement on Thursday. It’s expected to sport a dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, run on Android 4.2 and offer its users a screen size of 4.5 inches.

After it was reported that Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and U.S. Cellular will all get the device, Engadget pointed to FCC documents that show a variation of the handset getting prepped for T-Mobile as well.

Motorola’s Razr line has had a nice showing over the past year and a half, frequently cracking the top-selling devices at America’s Big Four carriers, often only behind the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy smartphones, at least after their first few months on the shelves. Look for this spiffy new phone to put Motorola back on the leaderboard.

No word yet on a release date for a device that’s expected to be popular among both general consumers and business users.
