Juniper Networks on Friday unveiled its Juniper Paragon Automation portfolio of cloud-based automation solutions.

Juniper Paragon Automation simplifies user experiences for complex 5G and multicloud services. The company says Paragon translates business intent into real-world performance across the network life cycle. That eliminates manual tasks for 5G and multicloud, improving operational speed and efficiency.

The solutions are cloud-native and microservices-based. That brings cloud flexibility, elasticity and resiliency to the network, Juniper said.

Julius Francis is Juniper‘s senior director of product marketing.

“The portfolio will absolutely create new opportunities for partners and their customers,” he said. “The Paragon suite is all about providing experience-first networking to the end user. And Juniper partners will be essential in bringing in and realizing the value of the new portfolio to their customers.”

Features include:

  • Network-aware automation. Juniper designed every application to be network and service quality-aware.

  • Network-tailored machine learning: Paragon automation collects, aggregates and analyzes large volumes of real-time telemetry data. That provides a multidimensional view of device, network and service health.

  • Paragon automation can be used as a cloud-hosted SaaS solution, hosted on-premises or in a public cloud environment.

Deeper Visibility, Control Needed

Capitalizing on new 5G and multicloud experiences will require deeper visibility into and control over the network and its services.

Here’s our most recent list of new products and services that agents, VARs, MSPs and other partners offer.

“Juniper Paragon Automation is focused on service providers and large-scale operators that are navigating the complexity of 5G and multicloud services,” Francis said.

The portfolio will allow partners to meet their customers’ evolving needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he added.

“It’s no secret that customers are having to transform their networks at never-before-seen rates due to the pandemic,” Francis said. “And [the] Juniper Paragon portfolio aims to help them do that.”
