Enterprise data and cloud storage provider Infinidat has appointed Mitch Diodato, previously with Arrow Enterprise Computing Systems, as director of channel sales for North America.

In this key role, Diodato will continue to build Infinidat’s channel community to address the issues impacting today’s enterprise storage customers. He has more than 20 years of experience in the IT and storage industry.

“I’m proud to join Infinidat at this stage in the company’s growth,” he said. “It is an exciting time for the IT industry and the storage sector in particular. Companies are hungry for solutions that enable them to accelerate their growth in the digital domain, and understanding how Infinidat rises to that challenge creates an incredible opportunity for our current and future channel partners and their customers.”

At Arrow ECS, Diodato was the national sales director, working with top channel partners to help them increase revenue by understanding the impact of digital transformation and delivering the “best solutions addressing customers’ technical and business requirements,” Infinidat said. In this new role, he will continue to build Infinidat’s partner channel, with a particular focus on large-scale enterprise storage, it said.

“Mitch will work with partners to share the Infinidat vision, making it clear how Infinidat’s products and solutions help customers innovate and grow,” said Steve Sullivan, Infinidat’s president of sales for North America. “Infinidat already works with the world’s largest telcos, financial-services and managed-service providers. We’re excited to have Mitch help us support our partner base and expand our reach into more industries.”

In addition to Diodato’s appointment, Infinidat recently appointed a new EMEA channel director, Hanan Altif, who previously worked at VMware as a regional channel manager. Diodato and Altif will collaborate to drive the company’s investment in the Infinidat partner program around the world.
