Hexagrid, FailProof Promote Cloud Services to VARs, MSPs

St. Louis-based Hexagrid, a cloud infrastructure developer, on has welcomed FailProof Technology as a “Value Added Distributor” of its Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms for VARs and MSPs. FailProof Technology is cloud services provider located in Dallas, Texas.

In its press release, Hexagrid notes FailProof has “developed a full-service program that offers solution providers the infrastructure, solutions, and business development support necessary for a successful transition to cloud computing.”

“For any VAR or MSP trying to get into the cloud business,” said Hexagrid CEO Suresh Mandava, in a prepared statement. “FailProof Technology has done all the leg work to vet cloud alternatives and (provide a) solution with a comprehensive training and support program to accelerate their clients’ success as cloud-enabled VARs and MSPs.”

Mandava added that “FailProof Technology’s unique business model supports channel adoption of cloud by equipping VARs and MSPs with all the tools they need to successfully consult, deliver, and support the cloud computing needs of their individual markets.”

Hexagrid bills FailProof Technology as a “cloud transformation business incubator” for third party providers including a “full-service cloud computing launch pad.” FailProof “focuses on the community of IT solution partners who have been flirting with entering the cloud arena but not sure where or how to start” said Akaid Diaz, CEO of FailProof Technology, in a prepared statement.

In Diaz’ view, FailProof adds value by being “the full-service cloud gateway for solution providers who have transformation anxiety.” He added “we provide all they need from infrastructure to solutions to business development” as well as marketing and sales support.

Last July, Talkin Cloud reported that Hexagrid joined the Open Virtualization Alliance (OVA), dedicated to promoting the KVM hypervisor standard, integrating its own VxDatacenter cloud infrastructure with the KVM software.
