Three Symantec Marketing Tools for Partners to Create Demand

As we know, marketing plays a pivotal role in driving awareness, customer demand and differentiation. Realizing that not every partner organization has the necessary time, budget or resources to dedicate to marketing efforts, Symantec offers a number of free and easy-to-use marketing tools to help our partners generate leads.

Generate Demand

Earlier this year, we introduced the Symantec Grid, a demand generation platform for our partners. The Grid offers several co-marketing campaigns our partners can use, from co-branded email templates and microsites to invites for webinars and other events. Through these campaigns, the Grid helps our partners quickly identify hot opportunities with real-time lead alerts that accelerate the sales cycle. In addition, the Grid offers a number of “how to” guides on essential marketing concepts, such as marketing planning and measurement, customer relationship management, social media marketing, email marketing and search engine optimization. Plus, if our partners ever need assistance, we have a dedicated team to provide support and help in choosing the campaigns that will work best for them.

Get Social

Given the growing role social media plays in marketing, we’re also introducing a new Social Syndication tool on Symantec Grid, which makes it easy to push out relevant and timely social media content. All of the content provided is customizable and enables partners to track responses. In addition to generating leads, partners can use this tool to enhance their company’s online presence and build stronger relationships with customers.

Keep Your Web Content Fresh

We also recommend leveraging a third tool called the Symantec Solutions Showcase, which provides fresh content for our partners’ websites directly from Symantec. As potential customers look to research online before they buy, the Solutions Showcase makes it easy to incorporate always up-to-date information on Symantec products, education and promotions directly onto our partners’ websites. This allows customers to make informed purchase decisions.

With these marketing tools, we’re continuing to invest in our partners and create stronger demand across the board.
