Telcordia Develops Tracking Solutions With NorBelle

Telcordia Technologies Inc. on Tuesday announced a strategic alliance with NorBelle LLC, a provider of wireless location technologies. The companies will develop mobile-to-mobile tracking solutions that provide real-time location reporting and improved accuracy in tracking to end users.

The applications will incorporated into the Telcordia Maestro IMS portfolio for wireless carriers and use with appropriately enabled devices.

The new product is based on the Telcordia Maestro IMS portfolio and NorBelle’s flagship product, Cearch, a GPS and location accuracy enhancement system.

Telcordia on Tuesday also announced that Easynet, a European data networks company, has expanded its existing Telcordia Granite Inventory deployment and purchased Telcordia Expediter to streamline order management and automate its end-to-end fulfillment processes.
