Open Telecommunications OSS Changes Name

The company previously known as Open Telecommunications OSS on Tuesday announced its new name, S2Net, which stands for Services to Network.

The firm specializes in automated service fulfillment for carriers and service providers. S2Net provides a rules-based system that automates all network service orders.

S2Net CEO, Rene Frei said the change of company direction stemmed from the fact that service providers are facing more pressure to reduce costs and bring new services to market more quickly, reduce costs and consolidate multiple network infrastructure.
