Looking to broaden its engagement with the IT community, CompTIA has signed on 48 of its members to act as ambassadors.

Our ambassador program will harness the talents and energies of the most active, engaged and committed CompTIA members while formally recognizing those who make such a positive impact representing the association.” said Annette Taber, vice president, channel strategies, CompTIA in a release announcing the program.

The ambassadors will actively recruit and serve as mentors for new members, as well as listen to member feedback and provide input and recommendations on new products, services and programs. They will be the feet on the street, listening to whats happening in the industry and providing feedback and ideas to CompTIA,” Taber said.

Current ambassadors include technology solution providers, hardware vendors, software companies, distributors and affiliate partners, CompTIA said.
