To keep up with the growth of Penton Technology's Channel editorial, eLearning and events, we're expanding our Channel team with the addition of a seasoned new leader for all of our Channel brands.

Meet T.C. Doyle, the new Senior Content Director, who will be overseeing our market-leading Channel brands, MSPmentorTalkin' CloudThe VAR GuyThe WHIR (Web Hos Industry Review) and the Web Hosting Talk forum.

A veteran technology writer, editor and video storyteller who has covered the IT industry for more than two decades, Doyle was previously the  formerly Executive Editor of IT and cloud for Channel Partners magazine. He was also Editor@Large with Cisco, for whom he ghostwrote "Doing Both," a best-selling thought leadership book. He traveled the world for Cisco in search of stories that captured the social and technological transformations occurring in the economies of Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. A former analyst with Amazon Consulting, Doyle previously worked as the Executive Editor of VARBusiness Magazine. He has been a frequent speaker at IT industry events and trade shows.

Doyle brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Channel team and he’ll work closely with Editor in Chief Jessica Davis, who leads our MSPmentor editorial team. Doyle will join Davis as a frequent contributor to MSPmentor and our other Channel brands, speak at our events such as Channel Directions Live and HostingCon, and he'll also be reaching out to many of you to talk about our ambitious plans for new Channel coverage, executive insights, research, eLearning and events.

In the months ahead Doyle and Davis will also be seeking your feedback and recommendations for how we can make our Channel brands even better. For MSPs, we’re especially interested in hearing about your business management know-how needs, new eLearning topics, and partnership opportunities for MSPmentor. Feel free to connect with Doyle at [email protected].
