Datapipe Adds CTO, Targets New Managed Hybrid Cloud Service Offerings
Datapipe, a Jersey City, New Jersey-based managed hybrid IT and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions provider, has added an industry veteran to support its growth.
Former Intralinks executive John Landy this week joined Datapipe as its chief technology officer (CTO).
A Datapipe spokesperson told Talkin’ Cloud that the company expects Landy to help it bolster its reputation in the managed hybrid IT solutions space.
“We are forming new partnerships. We are expanding our set of managed hybrid cloud service offerings to address the specialized cloud needs of enterprise customers,” the spokesperson said. “This is an era of incredible growth for Datapipe, and John brings to the table the experience and innovative way of thinking that will help the company.”
Who is John Landy?
Landy comes to Datapipe with a deep knowledge and understanding of software development, cloud technologies and the customer benefits of transformative IT, according to Datapipe.
He previously served as Intralinks’ chief security officer (CSO) and CTO and has experience developing offerings for both solution providers and financial services companies, including:
- Fidelity Investments
- JPMorgan Chase
- Kronos
- Omgeo
“We’re excited to have John on board and we are already leveraging his expertise and experience as we continue to enhance our solutions to meet the evolving demands of our enterprise clients,” Datapipe CEO Robb Allen said in a prepared statement.

Datapipe noted Landy’s addition is the result of the “continued growth and refinement” of its executive team, and the company continues to make moves to improve its portfolio as well.
The managed hybrid IT and SaaS solutions provider acquired cloud company Layered Tech in August and also expanded its Managed Cloud for Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July.
Datapipe added it expects Landy to help the company further enhance its solutions and better support its customers.
“We continue to innovate, develop and roll out managed services for multiple platforms,” a Datapipe spokesperson said. “[Landy] will help Datapipe further establish itself as the global provider of managed hybrid IT solutions for enterprise businesses.”
