Cisco added cloud management to its switches.
The networking giant now lets customers manage their Catalyst switches using the Meraki portal. Cisco has also brought its Nexus data center switches into the cloud.
Moreover, a new feature in Webex automatically removes background noises from calls.

Salesforce rolled out a robotic process automation (RPA) tool.
MuleSoft RPA comes from Salesforce’s acquisitions of MuleSoft and Servicetrace.
The offering lets bots take care of automate repetitive workflows to make life easier for customers.

Managed services giant Kyndryl is now doing work around Microsoft Azure.
Kyndryl, which spun off from IBM last year, expanded its relationship with Microsoft to include Azure. The suite of services will include consulting and implementation for moving on-premises applications to Microsoft Azure.

TBI‘s latest supplier partnership expanded its partners’ fiber and data center footprints.
The Chicago-based tech services distributor signed Bluebird Network to its portfolio. Bluebird runs a fiber network of more than 10,600 miles as well as two data centers. Bluebird is headquartered in Missouri.

ConnectWise‘s new partnership reportedly helps MSPs more easily access cyber insurance.
The vendor announced a partnership with ControlCase to integrate ControlCase’s assessment onto ConnectWise’s platform. The tool will allow MSPs to assess their customers’ security postures and determine where they stand on compliance.
In addition, ConnectWise has partnered with insurance broker Fifthwall Solutions.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise bolstered its flagship as-a-service offering.
The various enhancements to GreenLake include GreenLake for Data Fabric, which is a managed service for hybrid environments. HPE also launched a GreenLake tool for hyperconverged infrastructure and disaster recovery.

Cato Networks added ransomware protection to its SASE platform.
Cato Cloud now identifies machines that have suffered a ransomware attack. Cato is using heuristic algorithms inspect Server Message Block (SMB) protocol flows.

BlackBerry made three offerings available to managed security services providers (MSSPs).
CylanceGuard is a managed extended detection and response service. CylancePersona is an AI behavioral and biometrics analysis solution. Lastly, CylanceGateway is a zero trust network access (ZTNA) solution.

London-based Colt Technology Services launched a secure access service edge (SASE) offering.
The Colt SASE Gateway solution leverages the platform from Versa Networks to integrate SD-WAN and security service edge (SSE) features. Colt and Versa have been partnering since 2016 and have landed several large European SD-WAN deployments together.

MongoDB launched an offering that will help customers move their databases away from Oracle.
The MongoDB Relational Migrator is an SQL migration tool. Executives said it will will help businesses that are frustated with SQL limitations.
“We know that relational databases have way too many limitations,” the executive said. “They’re too rigid, too inflexible, too cumbersome, too costly and just don’t scale. And other people know that too.”

VMware unveiled multiple new technologies and consumption forms for those technologies in June.
First the vendor unveiled VMware Contexa, which discovers lateral network movement to find threats.
Then VMware launched subscription versions of its vSphere and vSAN offerings.

Avaya is building conversational AI into its contact center offerings.
The cloud communications provider showcased its latest features in a recent demo. Avaya executives said the vendor is offering more low-code and no-code solutions that integrate well with users’ existing offerings.

Pure Storage added a consumption-based service model for one of its storage offerings.
The Evergreen Gold model gives Pure Storage ownership over the appliance the customer buys, while the customer subscribes to software, hardware and support.
“We own the gear and the customer continues to drive demand or put new workloads on as they see fit,” Pure Storage’s partner sales leader said.

Intermedia added artificial intelligence features to its contact center platform.
Intermedia Interaction Analytics transcribes calls and assigns “sentiments” to each one, describing how the customers seem to be feeling. According to the company, the AI engine can help companies retain insights from the plethora of customer engagements that come their way via contact center.

VMware, HPE and many other technology providers have recently unveiled new products.
Channel partners, from MSPs to resellers to agents, can sell a variety of offerings from vendors, who are targeting them more than ever. And many of these vendors, such as VMware and HPE, are catering more and more to the subscription-based recurring revenue that many partners are pursuing.
This month’s list of new offerings includes a wide mix of companies. Infrastructure vendors like Cisco are on the list, but so are cloud communication providers like Intermedia and Avaya. And one carrier launched a new secure access service edge (SASE) solution.
