Arthur Germain is principal and chief brandteller of Brandtelling, a brand storytelling agency he founded in 2005. Prior to founding the agency, Germain served in marketing, public relations and editorial roles where he learned a lot about how businesses struggle to define who they are, what they do and how they serve their customers. Germain was head of global communications at Symbol Technologies during a brand refresh, a senior director at global public relations agency Neale-May & Partners + GlobalFluency during the dot com bubble, and he held senior editorial positions at trade and newsstand publications including VAR Business, Home Office Computing, Small Business Computing, Windows Magazine, Communications Week and others. Germain graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a bachelor’s degree in communications (which he says is an awfully appropriate degree).
