Telarus Hires Intelisys, Seranova Alumna, Signs Sonic

Another Serenova alumnus joined the master agent.

Telarus has unveiled a new hire and two supplier-related announcements.

Taylor Klevins has joined the master agent as a senior partner development manager for northern California. She’ll support existing subagents and recruit new partners.

Klevins most recently worked for contact center solutions provider Serenova. She also spent nine years as a partner experience manager at Intelisys, the California-based master agent. She praised Telarus for adding research tools and expertise in cloud and cybersecurity technology, which are unfamiliar areas for many partners.

“I am thrilled to join Telarus and to be part of their growing and successful partner ecosystem. I’m eager to share my knowledge and experience to benefit our sales partners in the Bay Area, Sacramento, and everywhere in between. While Telarus has had success here in the past, I feel that the market is ready and primed for a master agent that adds expert-level technical overlays, revolutionary financial programs, marketing/lead-gen assistance, post-sales support teams, and a rock-solid back office,” Klevins said. “Others may have pieces of this model, but none have been able to bring them all to bear for the benefit of their channel like Telarus. Second, the best sales partners in Northern California are relationship-driven and expect you to perform when called upon.”

Telarus recently hired Brandon Knight, a former Intelisys executive who most recently was Serenova’s channel chief. He now leads contact center business development.

Mike Bettilyon, who serves as Telarus’ area vice president for the West, said Klevins understands CCaaS and other advanced services. He said Serenova and Intelisys partners spoke very highly of her.

“We’re eager to see her continue to focus on helping her partners connect with our unique advanced business teams that are dedicated to strategizing directly with our agents’ customers and helping them find success in the fastest-growing areas of technology brokerage: cybersecurity and cloud contact center,” Bettilyon said.

Telarus on Tuesday announced a supplier agreement with Sonic, which is a California-based fiber-optic telecommunications provider. The deal gives Telarus subagents internet and hosted voice services from Sonic to sell. Sonic’s gigabit fiber offers can reach 10 Gbps.

“Our agents have been mentioning Sonic in the field,” said Scott Forbush, Telarus senior vice president of global sales. “Sonic may have the most competitively priced gigabit fiber solution in the country, which is a very hot product in the telecommunications industry right now, and we’re expecting a prosperous partnership.”

Sonic CEO and co-founder Dane Jasper said the vendor aims to maintain a long-term relationship with the Utah-based master agent.

“We are extremely excited to establish this relationship with Telarus and look forward to working with one of the most respected master agents in the industry,” Jasper said. “At Sonic, we value our partners and recognize that they are a key element to our success.”

Jasper founded Sonic in 1994. It is headquartered in Santa Rosa, California.

Rennaissance Systems, Inc. (RSI) announced that it will be the exclusive Telarus distributor for ConnexiCore. ConnexiCore is a commercial drone services provider that offers a SaaS platform for drone data optimization.

According to ConnexiCore CEO Frank Segarra, RSI will function as a “force multiplier,” reaching new customers for the vendor and providing the channel expertise ConnexiCore need to reach new verticals.

“As RSI continues to expand our portfolio in data management products, drone services for data collection has emerged as a unique fit,” COO David Burgeson said. “The ConnexiCore cloud SaaS platform delivers the true differentiator to partners as it optimizes drone data workflow, making it easier to store, analyze and share large amounts of image data.”

We wrote last week about Telarus becoming the exclusive distributor for StratusWorX, a cloud workspace provider. Zoom yesterday announced partnerships with Telarus and various other master agents and distributors.
