D&H will take the lead to offer on-demand training, technical and presales support, dedicated D&H Solutions Specialists and tools, including iQuote – an automated web-based HPE Financial Services calculator – as well as marketing materials and access to a portfolio of cloud-ready SMB solutions such as servers, storage and networking products from Aruba, a HPE company.

“We’re thrilled that a partner such as HPE is working with D&H to drive this robust and SMB-specific initiative through the channel, delivering an impressive assortment of services and solutions,” said Peter DiMarco, vice president of VAR sales, computer products division, at D&H. “We’re confident our customers will be able to expand their practices and increase their value propositions, empowering them to move ‘upstream’ in the marketplace and accommodate a higher tier of business.”

D&H partners will get access to a series of pre-recorded trainings to familiarize themselves with HPE’s products, including Operation Services from HPE Pointnext. They’ll also find trainings, such as HPE Fundamentals, to learn about HPE’s sales processes, partner portal and the vendor’s NextGen simplified pricing program.

The HERO program will also offer tools that focus on vertical markets and applications such as support for E-Rate business via Aruba’s wired and wireless network solutions for the K-12 market. Professional services offerings in the HERO program include wireless site surveys, “rack and stack” assistance, remote configuration and IT e-cycling.

“We’re excited to team with D&H to address this monumental opportunity in the SMB marketplace. We estimate that a large number of customers in the SMB community are positioned to upgrade or refresh their IT infrastructures to a sophisticated HPE cloud-ready environment, representing a considerable upsell potential for resellers,” said Mike Parrottino, U.S. vice president, SMB, at HPE.
