Avant Communications signed an agreement with cloud services provider Logicworks.

The master agent’s sales partners can now access Logicworks’ cloud migration, operations and optimization services. The vendor extends its market reach via the partnership to “advance channel cloud sales worldwide.”

“This is another major milestone for Avant,” said Drew Lydecker, president and co-founder of Avant. “Avant is the first to bring Logicworks, a leading AWS and Azure cloud services provider, to the trusted-adviser agent channel. The company’s specialization in highly regulated industries, such as health care and financial services, will give our channel partners an edge in today’s increasingly competitive marketplace.”

Logicworks holds certifications as an AWS Premier Consulting Partner and a Microsoft Gold Certified Cloud Platform Partner, and this year made Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for public cloud MSPs.

John Cerciello, chief revenue officer for Logicworks, said demand for cloud-migration expertise grows as AWS and Azure adoption grows.

Avant has signed numerous IT companies like Logicworks. Last week we learned that Alert Logic, the threat management provider, had joined the master agent’s supplier stable. Lydecker spoke publicly about the growth of Avant’s colocation sales in October, saying that the service is growing 100 percent on a quarterly basis.
