TELARUS PARTNER SUMMIT — Utah-based master telecom agent Telarus kicked off its third annual Partner Summit on Tuesday where it named partners and suppliers of the year, based on 2013 sales and peer recognition.
The big winner among partner companies, which includes agents, VARs and other ICT business consultants who source telecommunications equipment and services from Telarus, was Broadstring Communications, a fast growing, Midwestern service provider that serves Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Northern California and North Carolina.
Company founder and CEO Jason Para told Channel Partners that the fastest growing part of his business is the company’s MPLS practice.
“I’ve been leading with data solutions for customers and it’s led to a number of very large deals,” he said.
Although he has been selling telecommunications services on his own for just two years, he has more than a decade’s worth of experience in the carrier industry. Of late, he has begun partnering with VARs in different parts of the country, helping them serve their customers’ growing communications needs.
The secret to his success? “Keep calling,” Para said. “This is an industry where it pays to stay hungry. Literally.”
In addition to Broadstring Communications, Telarus singled out the accomplishments of nine other solution providers. Here is a list of its Top 10 partners for 2014, based on their 2013 sales.
