Dykes co-founded one of the fastest growing MSPs in the Southeast. United Technology Group (UTG) has grown monthly recurring revenue almost 50-fold since the company started in 2004. UTG is also expanding geographically from Atlanta, Ga. with the successful launch of a regional office in Augusta, Ga.

Troy Edington, Co-founder & COO, HEIT
Edington helped to increase HEIT’s monthly recurring revenues 55% over the past year, while lifting gross profits to 70%. He also developed new pricing mode bassed on Financial Institution Assest size — insulating HEIT from per-device on premise shrinkage as some devices shift to the cloud.

jeannine edwards

Jeannine Edwards, Director of Community, ConnectWise
During her three years at ConnectWise, Edwards has built the best-known community of MSPs. She’s led a strategy that includes quarterly user group meetings in North America, Europe and Australia — plus  the annual IT Nation conference in Florida. Edwards and her team develop and manage the company’s channel community relationships from both the partner and vendor perspective. Edwards previously was senior engagement director at IPED, the professional services division at Everything Channel.

David Ehrhardt, CEO, Apptix Inc.
Ehrhardt shifted to the CEO post in 2008 with a mission to refocus and rebuild the Apptix organization. He consolidated the technical infrastructure while focusing on operational and service excellence. More recently, Ehrhardt’s efforts have expanded to marketing and sales, where the company has focused on hosted Exchange and SaaS initiatives for vertical markets. Apptix now offers cloud-based communication and collaboration services for successful entities as Network Solutions, Cox of Virginia, CPA2Biz, Fujitsu of America and Savvis.

Adam Eiseman, CEO, Lloyd Group
Eiseman has built a large, organically grown MSP organization in New York. The company is now becoming a regional player, with offices serving Manhattan, New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pa. Lloyd Group will exceed $10m in revenue in 2011 and has fully launched its Private Cloud Services offering via its data center in Ohio. Next up, Eiseman apparently is planning an aggressive acquisition strategy.

Frank Ernesto IV, CEO, Network Data Security Experts Inc.
Ernesto and the team at NDSE posted year over year 75% growth in 2010 — a rather impressive figure amid the mixed economic climate.

Liran Eshel, CEO, CTERA Networks Ltd.
Eshel has positioned CTERA to combine Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices with cloud storage services — offering cloud attached storage solutions to MSPs and service providers.

Lee Evans, Managing Director, Vital Technology Group Ltd.
Under Evans’ leadership, Vital’s MSP business has grown an average of 60 percent per year since its 2006 launch. Evans was an Autotask Rockstar for 2010/2011, and CompTIA UK Channel Community Vice Chair for 2011.

Eran Farajun, Executive VP, Asigra Inc.
Farajun has built Asigra into a leading storage provider to MSPs. Customer deployments grew from 100,000 sites in 2009 to 400,000 sites in 2011; the partner base has tripled; and Asigra has built relationships with HP, NetApp, Intel and Symantec.

Steve Ferman, Owner, Compunite Computers Inc.
Ferman has continually reinvented Compunite since the company launched in 1988. The company remains on of New Jersey’s best-known MSPs.

Warren Finkel, Managing Partner, ACE IT Solutions
Finkel moved from a very successful managed services/IT solutions provider to start a managed services provider from scratch. Within a six-month period, Finkel grew the business to approximately 50 customers.

alistair forbes

Alistair Forbes, General Manager, GFI MAX Business Unit, GFI Software
Forbes has spearheaded GFI Software’s global MSP program. He has helped build one of the industry’s broadest managed services solutions portfolios, including managed antivirus, patch management, email security and email archiving.

Rich Forsen, President, Network Depot
Forsen and the team at Network Depot have built one of the Washington, D.C., area’s top managed services providers. He also volunteers insights and best practices to the broader managed services community. Network Depot’s sister company, Virtual Administrator, is one of North America’s top master MSPs.

Thomas Fox, President, Tech Experts
Fox has built an MSP and hosting organization that supports more than 200 end-user clients through Southeastern Michigan. His marketing techniques have helped grow Tech Experts an average 33 percent per year. Fox has also worked with 20 peer MSP companies to revamp their own marketing efforts.

James Foxall, President, Tigerpaw Software
Foxall was promoted into the president post in 2010, and immediately began to scale Tigerpaw’s software development, support, sales, marketing and branding efforts. The company’s PSA (professional services automation) software is used by MSPs, telecom resellers and VoIP specialists.

Dave Foxall, Owner and Founder, Tigerpaw Software
Foxall spent a decade in the corporate IT world. But a major corporate M&A deal gave Foxall the opportunity to step back and carefully consider his path forward. The result: Foxall launched Tigerpaw roughly 24 years ago, and the company has grown to more than 40 employees and 30,000 end-users. In 2010, the elder Foxall promoted son James into the president post.

Robert Fuller, Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales, Rackspace Hosting Inc.
Since its launch in late 2009, Rackspace’s managed partner program has seen tremendous growth, including an increase in partners from 2,000 to 4,500; an increase in channel bookings of more than 238 percent in 2010; and channel revenue growth of more than 60 percent from 2009 to 2010.

Sean Furman. Director – IT Consulting, STF Consulting
Furman established STF Consulting over 10 years ago; these days, customers outsource more than 100 servers and 500 workstations to his trusted support. He also sits on the Level Platforms Partner Council.

gavin garbutt

Gavin Garbutt, CEO, N-able Technologies
Garbutt has positioned N-able’s remote monitoring software for MSPs serving SMB customers and midmarket customers. Moreover, N-able has been funneling corporate IT sales leads, especially mid-market leads, to its channel partners. Plus, N-able has been building a range of freemium integrated software relaitionships with storage and security companies.

John Gilham, Principal Consultant & CEO, Agile IT
Gilham has helped Agile IT to doubled in size every year since 2008. The company has migrated more than 1,000 users to the cloud in the last six months. Gilham positions Agile IT as a leading Microsoft Online partner for Office 365 migrations, deployment, and cloud federation with on-premise Active Directory. He also leverages Windows Intune.

Bryan Gilliom, CEO, Contact Network (DBA InLine)
Gilliom is spearheading the transitioning of a $32 million “traditional” IT services company to a Managed Services focused entity. His direct efforts have enabled InLine to grow managed services revenues from $50,000 per month in 2008 to an expected $320,000 per month by the end of 2011.

Goodman is leading the network management division of Quest Software, developing product lines for the enterprise, mid-sized business and the channel — including the MSP community.

craig guice

Craig Guice, President & CEO, outsourceIT
Since opening the doors in 2004, Guice has led the company from two employees to more than 50 employees. In 2010, he spearheaded the merger with Bald Eagle Technologies, furthering outsourceIT’s footprint and technology expertise across North Carolina. Guices focuses on business development, customers service, mergers and acquisitions.

George Hadjiyanis, VP of Sales & Marketing, enStratus
Hadjiyanis leads cloud management sales and marketing. During his leadership, enStratus has gained hundreds of customers including Korea Telecom and SAIC. Previously, Hadjiyanis led marketing for Agiliti, a Managed Service Provider, where revenues grew 300% in three years.

Steve Hale, VP, Global Channels, Sophos
Hale joined Sophos as channel chief in 2011. Sources say he’s working to bolster the endpoint security company’s managed services partner initiatives. Plus, Hale is working to coordinate channel efforts between Sophos and Astaro — a unified threat management specialist that Sophos acquired in 2011.
