Warner has led Connecting Point to double digit growth in the managed service offerings that the firm markets.  Today, Connecting Point has nearly $200,000 in monthly recurring revenue. This number is growing at the rate of approximately net $3,500 per month. Warner recently was inducted into CompTIA’s IT Hall of Fame.

Alex Webb, CEO, F12 Networks

Webb was one of the first providers of HaaS — focusing on that business models for more than 10 years. The company’s managed services business has been growing 33 percent per year for 10 years, and Webb has overseen two successful acquisitions in Calgary.

Jamison West, CEO, Arterian

Over the past two years West has driven growth of the company from 8 employees to nearly 40 team members — via both organic growth and three acquisitions. Most recently Arterian won the West Region Northwest Area Partner of the Year award at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

Ryan Westwood, President and CEO, PcCareSupport

Westwood successfully led sales at DirectPointe and took sales from $3 million to $19 million. Next, Westwood founded PcCareSupport, which has acquired three MSPs this year. Through his leadership, PcCareSupport has grown 1,040% year over year in 2011.

Joseph Williams, Managing Director, UC, Microsoft Corp.

Williams is building the UC as a Service channel for Microsoft.  He has built a strong partner ecosystem among traditional VoIP providers and Exchange hosters. Plus, Lync has been one of Microsoft’s fastest-growing business applications.

Mark Williams, CEO, Pensar IT

Williams’ continued leadership and development of Pensar resulted in 43% growth for the financial year. Mark was elected to the Executive Council of CompTIA’s UK Channel Community and he has contributed strongly to raising the bar of standards in the UK channel. As an active member of HTG, Williams now assists with the facilitation of the UK group.

Dan Wilson, President and CEO, Waypoint Solutions Group

Wilson grew Waypoint by 78% in 2011 and increased EBIDTA by 8%. He has overseen several targeted MSP acquisitions, and is active with the MSPAlliance, CompTIA and Continuum Partners Advisory Council.

Chris Wiser, Founder and CEO, TechSquad IT

Wiser, a self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur, had his best year ever in 2011 as Founder and CEO of TechSquadIT. Gross revenue was up 51%, and net profit was up 58%. Wiser claims his secret to success is the ability to find and hire solid people, as well as the vetting and training process he has implemented for current employees.

Dave Wright, Founder and CEO, SolidFire

Wright is a young entrepreneur whose prior company, JungleDisk, was acquired by Rackspace. During his time at Rackspace, he became familiar with some of the unique challenges facing cloud service providers. One area of particular focus was high-performance block storage. He left to launch SolidFire, an all-flash system vendor selling to the cloud service provider market, which, under Dave’s leadership, raised $37 million last year from top investors.
