eFolder, Anchor Launch File Sharing Educational Tour
eFolder and Anchor are hitting the road to educate VARs and MSPs about cloud-based file syncing and sharing services. A 22-city road show across the United States will run in October and November 2013.
The eFolder-Anchor Lunch and Learn series, hosted at Morton Steakhouses, comes only a few weeks after eFolder (the cloud-based backup and disaster recovery specialist) acquired Anchor (a pure channel company focused on file sharing and syncing solutions). Anchor, built by multiple channel veterans, launched in 2011.
According to eFolder VP of Marketing Ted Hulsy, the Lunch and Learn series proves "that the combined eFolder and Anchor can move quickly and solidify our lead in the channel-focused file sync category. Aggressive marketing will bring on more than a thousand new partners to the Anchor solution in the next 12 months."
Many MSPs have been seeking business-class options that are alternatives to consumer-class file sharing services. Among the key challenges: Making sure the file sync solution was built from the ground up for channel partners. eFolder and Anchor hope to prove their solution addresses that challenge.
