Datto founder and CEO Austin McChord says channel partners will be able to meet with key members from the Datto team.

There’s still time for managed services providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs) to register for the 2014 Datto Partner Conference, which is being held at the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas this year.

Hoping to rein in more channel partners for the conference, Datto founder and CEO Austin McChord this week published a quick video on why channel partners should register, book a flight and meet with the data backup and disaster recovery (BDR) and business continuity vendor next month in Sin City.

“Partners who went to our conference last year found it to be incredibly valuable,” McChord said in the video. “Just think about it — a whole conference of your peers talking about how to better promote backup and disaster recovery solutions.”

The year’s speaker lineup features Jeffrey Ma, business strategist and MIT blackjack guru; Paul Sagan, former Akamai CEO and current vice chairman; and Arlin Sorensen, founder and CEO of HTG Peer Groups.

Datto is expecting more than 500 channel partners from across the United States, Canada and Europe for its three-day gathering.

Datto Business Development Vice President Rob Rae provided his input on what he’s learned from technology conferences and how he’ll leverage those experiences for Datto’s upcoming event.

MSPmentor will also be at the conference this year to fill our readers in on all the news, insights and rumors coming out of the event.
