Data backup and disaster recovery (BDR) and business continuity (BC) vendor Datto today said it has added billing support to its latest ConnectWise integration for its partners.

Now Datto partners can leverage the ConnectWise integration to handle off-site overage billing. Before this second integration phase, Datto Partners were only able to keep track Datto devices through their Connectwise portal.

Datto Product Director Ian McChord said via email that “Datto and ConnectWise have enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”

ConnectWise Platform Initiative Director Jeannine Edwards, who has been in her new role for a little longer than 30 days now, told MSPmentor that “it is great to see our vendor partners committing to consistent innovation in their integration to ConnectWise.”

“A robust integration between the solutions our partners are selling and deploying and ConnectWise helps drive automation, efficiency with the end game being profitability,” she said.

Datto said the new functionality is optional. Partners can continue to use the existing integration, which provides device and agent alerts to their ConnectWise accounts.

Datto also has integrations with Autotask, AVG, and Kaseya and is open to additional integrations based on partner requests, McChord said.
