Amazon Web Services (AWS) isn’t the only cloud computing services provider making news this week at its re:Invent 2014 conference. The tech giant’s technology partners are also touting several announcements of their own.

This week AWS unveiled several new services for its customers, including a low-cost database engine alternative to open source, a managed code deployment service, and new code development tools to save time for developers — bringing more options to businesses going to cloud as default.

Here’s what AWS’ technology partners have been up to this week.

2nd Watch Announces Cloud Factory Service, Guarantees $2K/Server Migrations. The company this week announced Cloud Factory, a combination of cloud workload management services for companies transitioning to AWS from traditional on-premises data center environments. 2nd Watch is guaranteeing $2,000 per server deployments for Cloud Factory customers based on a minimum of 200 servers.

Lumeta Adds Pay-As-You-Go Pricing on AWS Marketplace. The network situational awareness solutions provider announced the availability of an hourly pricing model for its Enterprise Situational Intelligence (ESI) software for AWS on AWS Marketplace. This new paid Amazon Machine Image (AMI) for ESI is available on an hourly or an annual subscription basis.

TIBCO Launches New Spotfire Analytics Offering on AWS Marketplace. The infrastructure and business intelligence software provider is now offering TIBCO Spotfire for AWS on the AWS Marketplace. Users will now be able to use Spotfire data visualization and dashboards technology on an hourly, pay-as-you-go basis for Amazon Relational Database Service, Redshift and more.

Codeship Continuous Delivery Service Now Integrated with AWS CodeDeploy. The continuous delivery platform this week said its service is now integrated with AWS CodeDeploy, a new managed, high-scale deployment service from AWS. Codeship supports a wide range of languages and test frameworks and works with GitHub and BitBucket.

Cloud Technology Partners Aims to Help ISVs with CTP Labs. At AWS re:Invent this week, Cloud Technology Partners unveiled a new business unit that the company hopes will help ISVs, developers and enterprises to cloud-enable their existing on-premise software. Dubbed CTP Labs, the new unit’s sole purpose is to transform existing software and enterprise systems into multi-tenant, auto-scaling cloud services.

Sophos Announces Expanded Security Offerings Through AWS Marketplace. The cloud-based security solutions provider announced a new secure server option for customers on AWS. The new Sophos Secure OS combines CentOS with preinstalled anti-malware protection in a single Amazon Machine Instance (AMI).

Trend Micro Deep Security Now Available on AWS Marketplace. The security software provider is now offering customers Trend Micro Deep Security for AWS on AWS Marketplace, an online store providing software and services for use on AWS. The new solution offers intrusion prevention (IPS), anti-malware with web reputation, integrity monitoring, log inspection and host firewall.
