ADTRAN NetVanta VoIP Appliance Focuses on Mid-Enterprise
With ADTRAN’s renewed efforts to be a key player in the infrastructure space, the company also is continuing to focus its attention to the mid-enterprise market with the latest addition to its NetVanta series, the 644, designed specifically for VoIP and SIP trunking. Read on for the details …
ADTRAN is pushing the NetVanta 644 as a “Global VoIP Media Gateway.” According to the company, NetVanta 644 “… seamlessly converts TDM to IP,” and can help migrate midsize enterprise companies to something a little more “efficient” for the bevy of cloud and mobile services hitting the scene.
The NetVanta 644 can support 120 simultaneous calls under VoIP and ensures that voice calls are maintained at a constant quality. Plus, it maintains connections even if there’s a circuit failure or, say, someone in the data closet trips over a wire.
The NetVanta 644 can be deployed by service providers working in the PBX integration space, larger enterprises needing an additional trunk for voice data and straight-up traditional deployments for UC proliferation.
