WTG Takes Curvature Partnership Public
CLOUD PARTNERS – WTG (Booth 407 and an Elite Sponsor) officially is launching its partnership with Curvature, an IT infrastructure provider that used to go by the name Network Hardware Resale.
Curvature and WTG have been working together for more than a year, developing Curvature’s channel, but now are taking their partnership public.
WTG inked the deal with Curvature as more of its partners asked for equipment sourcing.
“We absolutely do not compete with our VAR partners, just like we do not have a direct sales force to compete with agents,” said Vince Bradley, CEO of WTG. “Working with Curvature, which sells new and used equipment … has enabled us to easily fulfill those requests, thus augmenting and adding value to our partners. We are also teaming their reps with our agents to go to market together.”
Curvature specializes in hardware for networking, servers and storage platforms from Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Dell, HP, IBM and Arista. The company has three distribution centers and stocks new and pre-owned gear. Curvature also has the NetSure platform, which serves as a replacement for SmartNet.
“So many enterprises and other businesses today are frustrated that their equipment works perfectly and they have to throw it out,” said Ken Rotman, Curvature’s channel director. “Those days are gone because NetSure allows them to keep that gear as long as it is working.”
