GTIC, ICE Develop Sports Commemorative Prepaid Cards
Global Telephone Communication Inc.
(www.globaltci.com) has recently entered into a joint venture with International Communications Enterprises Ltd. (ICE) of London, to develop and distribute promotional commemorative prepaid calling cards relating to sports figures.
ICE is a telecommunications solutions company that provides telephony services to business customers, with a focus on multinational companies in the European Union, North America and the African States. The first contract is with Yamaha Motors Europe Corp., a motorcycle manufacturer which supports a number of racing teams.
The promotional calling cards will combine traditional prepaid calling cards and commemorative products containing images of past and present racing cycles and riders.
Card distribution will be through Yamaha dealers, Yamaha team shops, race circuits, sponsor outlets, all Yamaha publications and the Yamaha website
(www.yamaha-motor.co.jp).
GTCI expects to invest as much as $1 million for design, artwork, impression, printing, testing and delivery of satisfactory network transport and support capabilities over the next year.
