Windstream, ShoreTel Ink Expanded Distribution Pact
Windstream Corp. has inked an expanded distribution agreement with ShoreTel, Inc., enabling the Little Rock, Ark.-based communications provider to offer ShoreTel’s unified communications and other solutions to business customers.
After conducting a market trial of ShoreTel’s services for six months in Atlanta and several other cities, Windstream is expanding the offering across its 29-state footprint.
The expansion furthers Windstream’s goal of offering “advanced technology solutions to businesses of all sizes,” according to a press release from ShoreTel.
The communications provider will offer ShoreTel’s complete solution set, including unified communications, contact center and mobility services. As the latest addition to ShoreTel’s product line, the mobility offering extends an enterprise communication system to a mobile device and integrates with other IP-PBX systems, including those from Avaya, Cisco and Alcatel-Lucent.
