Windstream Enterprise now offers new customer migration options via Avaya IP Office, a cloud-based unified communications as a service (UCaaS).

The latest cloud offer is a migration option for Avaya premise-based IP Office systems as well as older Nortel phone systems, which Avaya no longer supports.

“Our 25-year partnership with Avaya has been instrumental in the growth of our UCaaS services, and IP Office is another example of the continuous strides made to bring industry-leading solutions to our customers,” said Austin Herrington, Windstream Enterprise’s vice president of product management. “With a similar look and feel, customers will experience IP Office’s enhanced communication and collaboration features with minimal cost or user disruption.”

IP Office benefits include an enhanced customer experience with improved call routing and multichannel options, according to Windstream. It also delivers improved connectivity for mobile and remote employees, including one-number access, collaboration tools, and one app to manage both communication and collaboration functions.

In addition to OfficeSuite UC and UCaaS/CCaaS offerings, Windstream Enterprise offers its SD-WAN Concierge, Cloud Connect and WiFi services. It also offers a range of complementary network and communications solutions including managed network security, wavelength services with optical encryption, switched Ethernet and fixed wireless.

The carrier added 1,900 broadband customers last quarter and grew its SD-WAN, UCaaS and OfficeSuite UC sales 43% from last year.
