Westcon Group Inc. said Tuesday it has acquired the assets of Chicago-based ReView Video LLC, a distributor of audio, network, videoconferencing and VoIP platforms. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Westcon said the acquisition increases its ability to integrate collaborative, IP-based video products and services into its portfolio of convergence, security and mobility products. And with Review’s maintenance program, Gold Seal, Westcon said it gains a foothold in service and technical support for video conferencing platforms.

The company also said the acquisition makes it one of Polycom’s largest global distributors.

The purchase of ReView marks Westcon Group’s third acquisition this year. In April it acquired NOXS, an European security distributor, and in May it acquired Crane Telecommunications, making it Avaya’s leading European distributor.
