Unify, ScanSource Partner to Expand Partners Market Opportunities
Unify has a new agreement with ScanSource, the tech distributor.
Under the deal, announced Monday the ScanSource Catalyst business unit, which distributes voice, video, and data convergence solutions, is now authorized to sell and support Unify’s OpenScape solutions and Circuit platform. Available to ScanSource channel partners in the U.S. and Canada, Unify says its OpenScape portfolio provides partners with a unified communications (UC) product that offers SMBs and enterprises the functionality, scalability and reliability of enterprise-class communications.
Also now available through ScanSource channel partners is Unify’s Circuit platform. It brings together voice, video, real-time document editing and management, messaging and file sharing into a single view, across an entire team.
“Unify’s solutions dovetail with many channel partners’ existing IT portfolios,” said John DeLozier, senior vice president of channels, North America, at Unify. “[They offer] the flexibility of an on-premises or virtualized service that’s deployed on top of existing infrastructure, doesn’t require additional hardware, and can maximize limited budgets and reduce high operational costs.”
“We are committed to providing a comprehensive platform of communications solutions to our partners, coupled with our value-added services offering, so that they can continue to meet the changing demands of their end-user customers,” said Tom Walker, vice president of sales, ScanSource Catalyst.
Lasy year, Unify unveiled the Unify Partner Program, a new channel partner program intended to expand opportunities for partners around the world with Unify’s UC solutions portfolio. Following the announcement of the acceleration of Unify’s transformation from a hardware to a software and services company, the new program was designed to reward partners for expertise and specialization, helping to drive greater revenue streams and increase customer satisfaction.
Unify says its channel program makes profit predictable because it rewards depth of expertise and specialization, with the ability to differentiate against the competition based on core business or technical competencies. The program offers incentives and provides opportunities for increased profitability, and accelerated return on investment, the company says.
Earlier this year, Unify and ScanSource established distribution agreements in the U.K. and parts of Europe that opened significant new opportunities for both companies.
