Managed services carrier TPx has appointed Scott Badgley, previously with Magna5, as agent channel manager, charged with supporting channel partners in the Pacific Northwest.

“Honestly, I joined TPx because of the terrific feedback I got from partners,” Badgley said. “They love doing business with TPx, but they didn’t have anyone local to bring the business to. TPx has a lot of momentum and really gets the channel, so it’s a welcome supplier among partners in the Pacific Northwest. I’m confident the TPx brand will grow fast here.”

After a lengthy search that included extensive dialogue with a variety of partners, it “became clear that Scott had the experience and skill set to be a successful advocate for TPx partners and their clients in the Northwest,” said Mark Harris, TPx’s director of channel partner program.

“His strategic and tactical approach to channel management combined with his knowledge of the Pacific Northwest market give us high expectations for growth in the region,” he said. “We’re thrilled to have him on our team.”

TPx now employs 33 channel managers around the country to assist partners selling its portfolio of UC, managed IT and managed security services. Earlier this month, the company appointed a national channel manager to support partners in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.
