Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division and SoTel Systems LLC announced this week the interoperability of SoTel SIP Trunking services with Toshiba’s family of Strata CIX IP business communication systems. SoTel SIP Trunking services are now available nationwide from Authorized Toshiba Dealers.

SoTel Systems is an ITSP offering SIP service products to replace traditional TDM local and long-distance services using its own softswitch technology, dubbed SIPCore. SoTel offers a variety of SIP trunking solutions, including Opti-Max IP with unlimited local and long-distance services over SIP trunks; Opti-Plus IP with free inbound calls and measured service for outbound calls over SIP trunks; Opti-Flex IP with measured service for all calls over SIP trunks; Opti-Link IP with a collaboration IP conference-calling solution; and SIPCore, a hosting application that delivers high-performance SIP call routing.

In addition to SIP service applications, SoTel has distributed a variety of voice and datacom products to the VAR and Interconnect communities since 1981.
