Tone Software Acquires Streamline IP Voice Analytics Solution

Network monitoring and management solutions provider Tone Software Corp. has announced it has acquired the Streamline IP Voice Analytics Management Platform from Communicado Inc.

Along with the platform and all underlying technology, Tone Software is integrating key Streamline product development and service delivery staff into the company, and is providing product support and professional services for the Streamline technology going forward.

The Streamline Service Management Platform enables enterprises and managed service providers to conduct VoIP pre-network assessments to determine their IP networks’ readiness for VoIP traffic. The technology also performs IP voice network optimization, as well as IP voice quality of service analysis, including real-time capture of session statistics on every call and real-time calculation of mean opinion score for every call.

“The addition of Streamline to the ReliaTel management suite results in a synergistic, ‘best-of-breed’ solution that ensures 360-degree voice network visibility and quality, and the reliable delivery of IP voice and data services across virtually any technology mix,” said Shirley Balarezo, president, Tone Software.

Streamline and ReliaTel combine to deliver a platform-independent voice quality and service management solution that supports TDM and IP gear from Avaya, Nortel, Cisco, Siemens, NEC, Mitel and more.
