TNCI Gets New CFO

TNCI, which at this time last year was embroiled in bankruptcy, has a new CFO.

Bill Farwell takes over the financial reins at the Blue Casa Telephone-owned service provider. He comes from Total Call International where he served as CFO since 2008. TNCI’s media contact did not immediately say whom Farwell succeeds.

Farwell has worked in financial roles for more than 20 years at companies including VOCE Wireless, Spotlight Health and The Walt Disney Co.

“His insight and experience will lead TNCI down the road to financial growth and help expand its prowess within the telecom industry,” said Jeff Compton, CEO and president of TNCI.

Farwell will oversee all of TNCI’s financial affairs. He joins the company, which was renamed as TNCI Operating Company LLC to distinguish itself from the original TNCI, as it continues to sort out its approach to the channel. Over the past year, the new TNCI, under Blue Casa’s direction, has rejected a number of agent contracts and sought to recoup commissions from agencies. The provider did participate at the recent Channel Partners Conference & Expo, where it debuted its take on hosted VoIP.
