Granite Telecommunications thanked partners for helping it reach $1.5 billion in fiscal 2019 revenue.

Granite, which says its yearly growth has averaged more than $100 million, increased its revenue this year without outside acquisitions or investments. And most of all, no debt.

“Our channel team has worked with partners nationwide for 15 years, but the volume of interactions and opportunities is increasing considerably as we sell more data, IP voice and wireless solutions,” Granite’s chief operating officer told Channel Partners.

1. Fusion Connect Claims ‘No Partners Lost’ During Bankruptcy

Fusion’s chairman and CEO said his company’s upfront communication has helped maintain partner approval during chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Matthew Rosen said partners did initially express concern when the company entered a restructuring support agreement (RSA) earlier this year. Rosen said it was natural that partners wanted to make sure they would keep their commissions and compensation structure.

“All of these things that are natural to worry about — and we assured people at the beginning of the process that we’re not going to mess with that and we haven’t messed with it, and we don’t plan to mess with it. I think we’ve just done the right thing and because of that, people have treated us the right way,” he told Edward Gately last week.
