In his new role, he will serve as a local resource for partners spanning from Michigan to Kentucky, and Illinois to western Pennsylvania. He previous was a national account manager based out of Telesystem’s Toledo, Ohio, headquarters.

“From Telesystem’s beginning, I have been part of the team that has helped evolve the business to where it is today,” Mishler said. “I am excited about helping Telesystem continue to grow our national presence through the partner channel.”

Telesystem says its agent program is designed to create contractual relationships with strategically oriented national master agents, and then to have regional channel managers in targeted geographical areas work to support the sales activities of partners in their region. Mishler’s experience in a direct sales role selling to enterprise accounts will “greatly benefit the partners under his care,” it said.

“Telesystem prides ourselves on our consultative approach to channel sales,” said Bruce Wirt, Telesystem’s vice president of channel sales. “Our Secure Internet as a Service product lends itself to very large applications that involve a high level of customization and partner education, and Matt is a perfect fit for this model. I am very excited to welcome him to my team.”

Telesystems delivers voice, video, data and computing solutions across its Ethernet core network.
