Telarus is adding Adtran’s networking solutions to its portfolio.
The Utah-based master agent on Wednesday said it has signed an agreement with the Alabama-based Adtran. The companies say the master agent will be the “lead channel” for two of Adtran’s solutions: ProCloud Unified Communications and NG Firewall. The companies call those two offerings representative of “two of the highest growth markets in IT.”
“Telarus is excited to be introducing Adtran’s ProCloud Unified Communications platform, and ProCloud Security to our solution provider portfolio,” Telarus Co-founder Patrick Oborn said. “Adtran is known throughout the industry as a reliable technology partner that puts partnerships and customer experience first. We believe our partners will be able to increase their wallet share with the addition of these services and be able to leverage Adtran’s experience and wide breadth of industry knowledge to deliver robust solutions to their customers.”
Telarus partners have the opportunity to join the ProCloud Subscription Services Program, which has options for software as a service and hardware. The program offers monthly revenue, a pay-as-you-go model and a platform of products like UC, analytics, security and network management.
Meggin Sawyer, vice president of business solutions and cloud services for Adtran, says the agreement opens up new channels for the company’s “growing partner community.”
“We are proud to unite with Telarus and its community of nearly 4,000 partners to extend the footprint of our Subscription Services offering,” Sawyer said. “We look forward to adding additional services in the near future that will enable partners to continue to increase competitiveness in their markets.”
Telarus cited a Technavio study that predicts UCaaS to grow at a rate of 25 percent annually up to 2021. A MarketsandMarkets report projected the managed security services market to go from $152 billion in 2017 to $258 billion in 2022.
The main theme of last year’s Adtran Connect conference was “software-defined access and the future of the network,” according to Channel Partners contributor Kevin Casey. The company in November announced a lab trial to evaluate Mosaic, its software-defined access solution.
“Telarus delivers a unique service model to partners by combining our home-grown software pricing tools and mobile apps with the best portfolio of data, voice, cloud and managed services from 150 of the industry’s leading technology providers. Our relationship with Adtran enhances that portfolio,” said Roger Blohm, Telarus’ executive vice president of UCaaS strategic programs. “We are seeing a high demand for UC and cloud-security services, and ProCloud is enabling our agents to easily and cost-effectively meet their customers’ needs.”
Telarus unveiled a new logo last month following its acquisition of CarrierSales.
