Telarus Adds Hosted Voice to GeoQuote

TELARUS PARTNER SUMMIT — Master agent Telarus on Thursday unveiled an upgrade to its GeoQuote pricing tool to include hosted voice quoting.

A screenshot from the hosted VoIP section of Telarus' GeoQuoteThe new feature allows Telarus agents to search a database of more than a dozen well-known hosted VoIP providers, all of which have signed sales agreements with the master agency. The tool recommends a provider after an agent selects criteria that include deal size, hardware requirements, CRM integrations and more.

“We’re very excited about it,” Adam Edwards, Telarus CEO, told partners in attendance at the company’s annual Partner Summit in Deer Valley, Utah. “What you see here in GeoQuote is the same thing you’ve seen for years. [The hosted VoIP addition to GeoQuote] is going to increase your close ratio and reduce operating costs. We’ll continue to do whatever it takes to help you be more successful.”

That will include listening to agents’ opinions regarding the upgrade and making tweaks to improve it.

“We’re desirous of your feedback,” said Patrick Oborn, Telarus co-founder. “We think of cool things and you help us take them to the next level.”{ad}

The list of hosted VoIP providers in GeoQuote is a who’s who that includes ShoreTel, RingCentral, Vonage, Broadview Networks, Jive Communications, Momentum, Comm-Core, IPitimi, MegaPath, Vocal IP, YipTel and West UC. Look for more providers to be added soon, Telarus said.

Edwards noted that differentiating among the various hosted VoIP suppliers historically has made some partners want to pull their hair out. They all have strengths and weaknesses, but the sheer number has made it challenging for agents to sort through them all.

“Our new tool will automate that research and make the best recommendations based on more than 10 unique customer requirements, including pricing,” he said.

Use of the tool is free and available now to all Telarus and VXSuite partners in their partner back-office portal.
