TBI welcomed Corey Cohen to its executive team Wednesday.

The master agent promoted Cohen to vice president of marketing. She is the only woman ever to sit on TBI’s seven-person executive team.

TBI’s Corey Cohen

Cohen previously worked as director of marketing. The company entrusts her with marketing, public relations, advertising and brand strategy.

“Cohen has been a large part of building TBI’s marketing department for the past four years. Her energy is unequaled,” TBI president Geoff Shepstone said. “Corey and her team have the most productive marketing department [among] our national master agent community, assisting industry vendors establish and/or augment their own channel marketing programs and helping partners market themselves.”

Cohen joined TBI in 2015 after spending several years at marketing agency Magnani Continuum Marketing. She spearheaded several initiatives for TBI, including a multimedia content program and a marketing tool called Partner Marketing Center.

TBI on the same day announced a new partnership with Talkdesk. TBI subagents can now sell the Talkdesk contact center platform. TBI senior vice president Mike Onystok called Talkdesk a “true born-in-the-cloud CCaaS solution.”

“Talkdesk helps to round out our already robust CCaaS vendor offering. With the expected growth of the CCaaS market, the addition makes for big partner opportunity. Not only is it a highly lucrative sale, but it is no longer a solution solely for call centers; any business that wants to take their customer experience to the next level can benefit from a CCaaS solution,” Onystok said.

The master agent announced six promotions back in March, including that of Onystok.
